Like many who have experienced rough times in their lives, this reflection is powerful for me.
I’m hugely thankful for my readers. Writing is my dream, and I’m so thrilled I have wonderful people to share my stories with. Your enthusiasm and requests for more stories are greatly appreciated.
I’m also thankful for the author community and my family at Decadent Publishing. Writing can be a lonely business, but I’m amazed at the level of camaraderie and support from my fellow authors and all the staff at Decadent.
On a personal level I’m thankful for my family and friends. My husband and son are wonderful in supporting my dreams, and my dogs cheer me on as they snuggle in my chair while I write. While my day job drives me crazy at times, especially when overtime eats into my writing time, I am thankful I have a job, and have the ability to hunt for a new one.
As I was writing Rex’s Mate, the theme of being thankful came up. Aaron, one of my heroes, goes through a harrowing experience. He and his brother are abducted. He wakes up in a strange place to discover his brother is missing, and Aaron has been medically altered against his will. That’s a lot to handle! But Aaron, who is a loner by nature, finds unexpected sources of support at Pack Pawlak, including a cocky yet off-the-charts sexy protector. Without giving anything away, Aaron definitely finds reasons to be grateful during this difficult time.
Rex’s Mate begins with Rex in a lonely place. He sees the love between Hunter and Casey, and wants that level of connection too. But can he find it? And deep down he wonders, is he worthy of it? Aaron and his situation is way more than Rex expected to take on, but he’s never one to back down from a challenge. While he hates the men who caused Aaron’s struggles, he is thankful for finding this fierce and beautiful man.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I’d love to hear what you’re thankful for.

Resting his palm on her hip bone, he resisted the urge to scoop her up in his arms and take her to the bedroom. Could living in this part of the world be so easy for his kind? “What about you? Could you fall in love with an alien?”
She smiled, her body relaxing again. “I am absolutely sure I could.”
“What about a regular human being?” Slowly gathering her skirt up her legs, he waited for her answer. Would she reject him?
“Could I fall in love with someone from Earth? Sure.” She moved her hand down and began to rub his inner thigh. “If that someone is you.”
Lust oozed out of her pores, accelerating his desire. He sat up, anxious to kiss her sweet lips. So soft and tender. She wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned back, pulling him on top of her. Chal plunged his tongue into her mouth the way he wanted to experience other parts of her.
Angela held the hem of his sweater, drawing the material up until he was forced to draw back for a moment to get the dang thing off. As she trailed her palms up and down his back, Chal slipped his hands under the skirt of her dress. He yearned for more. All of her. No internal warnings with his neighbor. Every inch of his being encouraged him on, to make the ultimate connection with the woman who said she could love an alien.
Clasping her waist, he ran his thumbs along the edge of her undergarments. With a throaty moan, she thrust toward him. Encouragement?
He lifted his head and gazed into her honey-colored eyes. “Do you want this?”
She nodded and pulled him back down, claiming his mouth the way he yearned to claim her. When she elevated her hips, he slid his fingers beneath her undergarments and shimmied them down her thighs.

Title: Tempted in Texas
Author: Sara York
Genre: M/M Romance
Release: October 31, 2015
Rusty Briggs knows his chance of finding a man while living outside of Sweetwater, Texas are slim to none. Few know about his little secret, but his ranch hands have run out on him and the folks in town aren’t as hospitable as they were before the incident. He’s resigned himself to the fact that working his ranch will have to be enough or he will need to sell and move to the big city...that is until he meets Trent Anderson.
On the outside Trent appears to be a man with full access to silver spoons and caviar
dreams, but his parents cut him off and tossed him out once they discovered he was gay.
After living on the street, selling himself, then ending up in a destructive relationship, Trent
pulled his life together and came out on top, all by using his compassion and
intelligence—or so Trent thinks. Recently, Trent’s grandfather passed away and left him his
ranch, as long as he meets a few conditions, like living in Texas for ninety days. But Trent’s
secret benefactor, Reed, is dissatisfied that Trent isn’t living in Atlanta and wants him back.
The only issue for Reed is that Trent is involved with Rusty.
Money, greed, lust, and power work to keep Rusty and Trent apart. They are forced to trust
each other when life falls apart, but can they actually become close enough in ninety days
to create a solid, trusting relationship, or will old relationships come between them?
Writing is Sara's life. The stories fight to get out, often leaving her working on four or five
books at once. She can't help but write. Along with her writing addiction she has a coffee
addiction. Some nights, the only reason she stops writing and goes to sleep is for the fresh
brewed coffee in the morning.
Sara enjoys writing twisted tales of passion, anger, and love with a good healthy dose of
lust thrown in for fun. Almost a quarter of a century ago Sara met her lover, falling for him
after knowing him for ten minutes. Sara's passion for him comes out in her stories, mixing
with her passion for life, love, and good times, flowing onto the page and becoming tales
from the heart.
